The flying star system is one of the more well known system that is being used to perform annual forecast. This system primary uses the 9 stars of the northern dipper as their framework of forecast.

Represent the sector with the highest energy level where it will enhance everything in the sector. All 3 commonly causes bodily harm that can add challenge in the year where you might not be able to make a living properly due to the injury.

5 Yellow (Calamity) WEST

The grand lord of problematic energy fall into the WEST this year where its energy is highly untimely especially in the period of 9. Imagine this as an active volcano ready to exert its reign on the land. Barren land can become fertile or fertile land can be eradicated in a moment notice. Lost of wealth (bankruptcy level) and Medical mishap (death) can occurred at a moment notice if the energy is disturbed.

3 Jade (Argument) CENTRE

This energy is the holder of resiliency which in the classical day represent a solider spirit of not wanting to give up and die. You send solder to a long drag out campaign where they have no idea if they will be able to come home and see their love one. Their ability to hold on and survive is what often carry them through the rough time. Cantonese say its the cockroach spirit of survival (小強精神). However that this energy is again become untimely in the period of 9 where it exert its negative influence in form not wanting to end any dispute/discussion causing unnecessary and often senseless argument.

This energy is subjected to everyone and hence you will see an increase of argument among nation and even your neighbour. No-one want to give way and clinch their foot on their ground, causing a deadlock among party on the discussion table. This does not bode well with the current developing circumstance where everything will be drag out into unnecessary frontier where resources is wasted just to maintain your senseless principle.

7 Red (Discord) SOUTH

This is the energy of conversation/negotiation where the untimeliness cause it to not able to delivered what it promise and hence being seen as a broken promise. What has agreed upon is not being realized and hence it often is associated with lawsuit and even robbery. The classical manifestation is associated with broken solider where it means a solider that has lost its honor and battle and resort to petty thief and turning into bandit just to survive.

South country might be subjected to higher crime rate (sorry, our beloved neighbor Singapore). This also means that transfer of wealth (not in the proper manner) will happen in such area first. Contract will be broken (lawyer will prosper) and promises will be go up in smoke. ohhh … you have any crypto laying around better move into a physical wallet (drive).

8 White (ex-Wealth) NORTH

Well this fellow is dethrone from the wealth star title after being on the job for the past 60 years. This star is still the star of responsibility and hardworking which means you can still extract wealth from it, just in a non efficient manner. Imagine as a mine that has run out of its gold deposits or an oil well that has been pump dry.

You start to see Northern country to be still hardworking but is not really growing-anywhere. Effort seems to be on the waste as ROI is thin and effort is heavy. There is a need to switch strategy from an often protectionist method to a more expansionary / exploratory method.

6 White (Power) NorthEast

The star of power is landing in the palace of earth which will indicate some protectionism happening. You would like to improve your power base and strengthen you foundation. This might be the place you want to be position this year for work. This star allow you to make firm decision which progress decision forward. In period 9, this energy is directly suppress by the prevailing fire which make this energy to be rather limited in its potency. As such you see many areas losing control (government suck).

The ever popular star of study and examination which assist in academic related pursue. It is one of the more formidable cooperative combination that will improve a person ability to strategize as well as execute. 9 Purple (Joy) SouthWest

The star of connection and networking will now be our favorite friend that will bring solution to those that befriend it. Originally the star of exploration often used by people of commerce to establish trade route between city where it now land on the wood palace I dictating a growing connection. People are fostering longer term connection and cooperative arrangement. You would want to use this to expand your territory as well as building a team of trusted people.

We will see East side people trying they're best to help others, in exchange for a future favor which will be collected. They will be reaching out more and establish that necessary path of communication for the see that fostering friendship will help with their own growth and transformation.

2 Black (ex-Sickness) SouthEast

Surprise, surprise … out new kid on the block tat will be taking up the wealth generator position. As the nature of wealth evolve toward a more development centric model, those that know how to culture / farm the land will be come the next rich. As how farmland and military training camp work, the star 2 represent such land where people grow slowly at first and become a perpetual contributor later.
